PCA Rpt on FV and NPP; Comments

The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), at its 2006 General Assembly, appointed an ad hoc committee to study the Federal Vision [FV], New Perspective [on Paul, NPP], and Auburn Avenue Theology." Their report can be found here.

Jeffrey Meyers lists 30 reasons not to approve the report.

John -

Thanks for linking to the PCA and Meyer's post. I have read both.

For a spirited defense of the active obedience of Christ, see http://www.fpcjackson.org/resources/apologetics/Covenant%20Theology%20&%20Justification/kline.htm

Blessings,

Hi, John!

I'm glad for two things:

1) I'm glad I found your web site.

2) I'm kinda glad in a thoroughly selfish way that PCA has theological discussions and disagreements like the PCUSA.

Only *sigh* both sides of the discussion are more scripturally sound than the average PCUSA discussion these days.

I'm going to read both Docs but E-Mail me, I have some interesting denominational property and devotional issues to discuss.

Blessings, Brian
